IMPORTANT FLOOR FINISHING TIPS:

• For level, even application, use a figure-eight motion as shown in the diagram.
• To avoid build-up, keep all coats after the first one at least eight inches from the walls, shelves, and counters.
• Check this list before applying finish to make sure you are ready to begin:
  • Has all the soil, stripper, and old finish been removed?
  • Has the fllor been thoroughly rinsed with a vinegar solution?
  • Is the floor completely dry?
  • Is your equipment clean?

PATCHING WEAR OR TRAFFIC AREAS:

If wear patterns develop between strippings, PRISTINE FLOOR FINISH can be patched to restore the area.

Wet mop floor with YELLOW All-Purpose cleaner (see YELLOW manual sheet). Rinse floor thoroughly and allow to dry. Apply a medium coat of PRISTINE only to the areas which have become worn.

CLEANING WAXED FLOORS:

When used in the proper dilution, YELLOW All-Purpose Cleaner will remove soil from the floor without disturbing the finish. Refer to the YELLOW manual sheet for regular floor cleaning maintenance.
